jack has discovered the psychedelic awesomeness of his dinosaur quilt, which has neon dino eggs on one side. when i lay him on his tummy on this quilt (which his grandma cooper made for him) he gets wide-eyed (or "crazy eyes" as his auntie jenn calls it) and his head wobbles a little and he tries to grab at those little buggers. the quilt has odd effects on him.. for instance, i caught him trying to walk the other day.
he was laying all the way forward on his chest, with his butt straight up in the air, on his tippy toes and he was pushing himself forward, not unlike a vacuum cleaner. i told him he was getting ahead of himself and he should at least learn to roll over first. he is just trying to grow up too fast!
the other night we went over to my moms to see my little brother and his wife before they went back to washington. jonathan is in the navy and will be deployed march 13 for at least 6 months. his wife, courtney, is 7 mos. pregnant.
