Jack is due on Saturday and I am swinging between awe and disbelief that he is so close, and pure anxiety about the looming event that will change our life forever! I can't wait! I have no idea when he will be here, a due date is more like a guess-date and first babies are often 7-10 days late, so I'm trying not to hold my breath but....I'm holding my breath! I can feel my body getting ready to loose this child on the world, I definitely feel like I'm ready but who knows. I'm over halfway effaced but only a centimeter or so dilated, so I could stay this way for weeks. Hopefully not though. I already lost my mucus plug (gross event) but that also does not mean much. Unfortunately.

Hey girlfriend!! I am so excited I get to spy on you and G-funk anytime I want now. I cant wait to meet baby jack! I better get to the grocery store so I can be the first to bring you some meals...I promise not to bring casserole!
