There is a certain tree outside my window that keeps on hinting that it's spring, and that brilliantly warm and fabulous weather is on its way. I'm so grateful for it's optimism.
Garrett and I have been dreaming of living in a house, albeit, a rented one, but a house nonetheless. We thought our lease was up at the end of May, but we just found out yesterday it's actually up at the end of this month! So now we are scrambling to find ourselves the perfect rental in... a couple weeks. Dear lord.
As I sit, dutifully blogging, Jack is sitting in his little swing (that doesn't actually swing) chilling out like a good little boy. Everything was quiet, I was absorbed in reading something and suddenly Jack lets out a single squeal. I look at him. He's just sitting there staring at me.
Mom. Pay attention to me!
And now he is trying to figure out how exactly is the best way to hold his teething toy and still be able to put it in his mouth.
1) Give Jack a bath (he has things stuck in the creases of his chins)
2) Trim Jack's fingernails (I'm tired of being scratched)
3) Start a load of laundry
4) Go on a walk to the park
That's all we have so far, but at least the next hour or so should be entertaining. My life now consists of making lists of things to do to occupy my time in a constructive and productive way, and keeping up with the laundry. It's not as easy as it sounds.

He is SO adorable. I'm sure his single squeal was "I want to go to Grandma's house!" I'm looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!!!
