We have a garden!! Garrett's parents created a community garden in their backyard and we each have our own little plot.. this one is ours, with the trendy diagonal rows:
We have eggplant, zucchini, strawberries, rosemary, basil, cilantro, mint, radishes, miniature round carrots, four different kinds of peppers and two different varieties of tomatoes, lettuce and cucumbers!
I'm so excited for everything to GROW!! I think I'm going to plant some sunflowers along the back of the plot, and some marigolds at the ends of the rows to keep bugs away. We also have a community corn patch in the corner, and a flower garden at the front of our garden (which is still in the process of being planted). It's wonderful and we can all just sit around and work in our gardens and chat and it's going to be the best thing ever. Of course, my garden is the most beautiful.
